Green Seaglass Gold filled pendant

Gorgeous green seaglass gold filled pendant.

I often spend time wandering along my local coastline so it’s very easy to be inspired by the sea in the designs I make. I also sometimes find sea treasures in the form of seaglass. So I’ve hand picked a few pieces that had the best shape and colour to set into pendants. This is a very simplistic design to show as much of the glass as possible. The seaglass is untouched as much as possible, so it remains just as I found it on Bracklesham Bay, my local beach.

Chain is Gold filled Cable style 20 inch long.

I just love the combination of gold and green so I’ve choosen to set this piece of seaglass using gold filled as a more affordable option than solid gold.

Gold filled wire is a solid layer of 14k gold bonded to a base metal such as brass. This creates a more affordable way of wearing gold but much more durable than gold plated which can often rub off over time revealing the metal beneath.
