HELLo!

I’m Rebecca. I’m the hands behind Knotted Rose.

If you’ve stopped by to find out more about how this all started…

Well actually - I was doing a favour for a friend. She wanted some company on a jewellery making course over 10 years ago now. I learnt the basics on how to saw and solder in silver then to set some stones.

Life then took over for a while and I got married and had two boys. As they have grown and become (slightly) more independent I found I could pursue more of what interests me, I naturally gravitated back to playing with metals. I had so much support and encouragement from friends and family that I decided to start Knotted Rose jewellery.

The rest, as they say, is history!

If you wondering why ‘Knotted Rose’?

Rebecca in some languages means ‘to tie’ and Rose is my surname - hence Knotted Rose. It’s actually just a version of my name.

If you’re thinking “who makes this stuff?”

Just me. I work from a cupboard at home. (Yep, a cupboard, under the stairs!) It’s my little getaway space.

When I’m not in the cupboard, I can be found running around after my two small people (and sometimes the hubby), taking a walk down the local canal or heading to the beach for a little escapism.

If you want to know where the materials I use come from…

I’m a big believer in being really kind to our planet, so whenever possible I use eco (recycled) silver and I source stones from the most responsible places I can find.
