Gorgeous handmade white/clear seaglass drop earrings set in recycled fine and sterling silver. I’ve added some lovely irregular hand textured circles to create more of a statement with these earrings echoing the ripples in water.
I often spend time wandering along my local coastline so it’s very easy to be inspired by the sea in the designs I make. I also sometimes find sea treasures in the form of seaglass. So I’ve hand picked a few pieces that had the best shape and colour to set in recycled fine silver bezel. This is a very simplistic design to show as much of the glass as possible. The seaglass is untouched as much as possible. The silver used for the setting is 100% recycled making it a more sustainable choice.
Seaglass found by me at Bracklesham Bay.
Knotted Rose Jewellery uses traditional silver smithing techniques to make the jewellery in a small studio situated on the South Coast of England. It’s just a short drive from the beautiful coastal scapes of the Wittering beaches. This stunning coast line heavily influences her work with beach textures/colours throughout many designs.
Size of seaglass pieces approx 12mm by 8mm at it’s widest points.
Largest Silver circles measure approx 25mm by 22mm.
The earrings are approx 45mm from top of earring hook to bottom of the earring.
