Rainbow Seaglass Bracelet
A handmade bracelet in a rainbow of found seaglass pieces set in recycled silver.
I had so much joy designing and making this piece, it would be very difficult to find the full rainbow of colours in seaglass, especially locally, so this is just a few different coloured pieces.
I often spend time wandering along my local coastline so it’s very easy to be inspired by the sea in the designs I make. I also sometimes find sea treasures in the form of seaglass. So I’ve hand picked a few pieces that had the best shape and colour to set in recycled fine silver bezel. This bracelet has one bezel set central piece and the other pieces have been set with a back that has a hand stamped design of stars or waves on the backs. The silver used for the setting is recycled fine or sterling silver.
Seaglass found at Bracklesham Bay
The bracelet measures approx 8 ½ inches with a bolt ring fastening which can be attached at your desired length.
The largest central seaglass piece measures approx 12mm by 8mm
The Seaglass colours included, according to the Seaglass Index are as follows;
Teal Green, Deep Amber, Olive Amber, Soft Green, Light Teal blue, pale gray & Cobalt Blue.
