Handmade recycled Sterling Silver & Green Seaglass Ring.
This luminous ring was made on the south coast by hand. The band is hammered for extra sparkle made from recycled sterling silver, the seaglass has been set using recycled sterling and fine silver.
I often spend time wandering along my local coastline so it’s very easy to be inspired by the sea in the designs I make. I also sometimes find sea treasures in the form of seaglass. So I’ve hand picked a few pieces that had the best shape and colour to set in recycled fine silver bezel. This is a very simplistic design to show as much of the glass as possible. The seaglass is untouched as much as possible. The silver used for the setting is 100% recycled making it a more sustainable choice.
Seaglass found at Bracklesham Bay
Knotted Rose Jewellery uses traditional silver smithing techinques to make the jewellery in a small studio situated on the South Coast of England. It’s just a short drive from the beautiful coastal scapes of the Wittering beaches. This stunning coast line heavily influences the work with beach textures/colours throughout many designs.
Stone measures approx 6mm by 7mm at its widest points.
